Owner of Sacred Expressions Steven Wheeler has been blowing glass for almost 15 years.  Throughout that time he was always trying his hands at other mediums from metal to wood to canvas and finally fell in love with the ancient and spiritual art of Tatau.  Steven has spent much time on the Hawaiian islands, as well as travelled all over the world gaining inspiration from indigenous culture and art forms.  He started his tattoo training strictly through learning freehand, Polynesian style of tattoo with his formal training under a nationally awarded tribal artist.  Since that time until now Steven has been tattooing for 4 years and developing his skills and techniques while still heavily favoring Polynesian inspired freehand work and Sacred Geometry black work.  Steven approaches tattoo with the mindset that helping another human being discover and embody their spirit skin is truly a way to help bring the planet back to balance as we all collectively suffer from so much dis-ease and distraction.  He believes with the right intention and an open heart, through tattoo and all art, we can spread some light in times when its needed most
